Introduction to diabetes for nurses and general health professionals 2012

The program consists of 2nd weekly 1 hour audio conferences with a credentialled diabetes educator. The program is supported by diabetes study materials and activities. Advanced Diabetes Continuing Education 2012

The Advanced Diabetes Continuing Education Program is a series of topics and discussions led by specialists in the field of diabetes and related areas. The program is offered 2nd Wednesday of the month from 1.00 to 2.00 pm via audioconference. The series is designed to make available advanced, evidence based information about diabetes to rural and remote health professionals working in the area of diabetes education and care. An intradisciplinary program offered in key locations in rural South Australia.

Diabetes Fundamentals (self directed online modules)

A self directed program that introduces the concepts of managing type 2 diabetes. The 11 modules are designed to provide an update on the basic principles of diabetes management and care for health care providers. It also introduces participants to a range of teaching resources, tools and organisations.

Sick day management in type 2 diabetes

An online module designed to enhance education about sick day management in type 2 diabetes. There are 2 case studies each having questions in a multiple choice format. You can work through the case studies at your own pace and a certificate is issued on completion.
