Child Health and Education Support Services (chess)
is the result of an interagency commitment to improve the health care and learning of all children and students and to support their families and communities. The Department of Education and Children's Services has produced a range of resources to assist families and services with health support planning, including guidelines, planning and support guides and forms. This site facilitates access to a range of materials to support children with diabetes in the school environment. Guidelines & care plans are all available at this one site.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)

International Diabetes Federation (IDF)

Presentations by the IDF were originally developed in 2002. They continue to be an excellent resource in building knowledge in general health professionals about evidence based diabetes education and care. IDF are currently undertaking a review and update of the modules therefore some information may change.
National Diabetes Supply Scheme (NDSS)
An initiative of the Commonwealth Government administered by Diabetes Australia. It provides blood and urine testing strips, syringes and needles at a subsidised price to people with diabetes
